End of an Eon

On a distant star system, far away from Earth, a species very similiar to our own has lived in peace and prosperity for eons. Unbeknownst to them though there has been a violent conquering species rapidly taking control of the system. They consist of pure energy so they are almost unstoppable; and they have arrived. Now it is time for the planet to defend itself or its people will be left to face their fate; the end of an eon.



Just thought I would add a story in there. This is mainly influenced by the movie Titan A.E. I just saw it again and I thought it would be cool to make some sort of Drej sort of monster.

UPDATED: I added a piece of hameed's nebula [link] after I did some work on it in PS. I thought it would help so your eye travels around the whole image instead of just one side. I added some more planets and changed some other minor things. It is bigger now so you can see the whole detail of it.

This is my first time making planets by just using Photoshop alone. I was suprised at how they came out. I also made the starfield in PS this time instead of using 3ds max. Actually this is the first time where I used Photoshop as my major program. This did not turn out that bad either. The nebula was made in 3ds max.
